Our Groups

Access Bedford are pleased to offer regular group sessions for our Deaf community and also those people who are learning BSL.

Young at Heart Group

If you are over 50, D/deaf or Hard of hearing why not join our Young at Heart social club, we meet once a month at a local Café. Come along to see old friends and new, stay for cuppa, cake, and a catch up.

BSL Café – Online

Our BSL Café has been running for over 5 years and we have met at many locations around Bedford to practice our BSL conversation skills over a cup of coffee! Meeting face to face is not currently an option but we still want to support our BSL students and friends with a safe and relaxed environment to practice their BSL Skills.

Deaf Space Drop-in Service

Access Bedford’s Deaf Space Drop-in Service is FREE and open to the D/deaf and Hard of Hearing community in and around Bedfordshire.

The service is available online through Zoom or video call, and also by a pre-bookable face to face meeting. A fully qualified NRCPD Registered Interpreter will be available to support you, all meetings are private and confidential.
